John Baldessari AND Tom Waits: what’s not to like?

John Baldessari is one of the most interesting and influential artists of the 20th century, armed with one thing the art world often lacks – a sense of humour. This little film about him, commissioned by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and directed by Henry Joost & Ariel Schulman, crams his life into six minutes and is narrated by the epically great Tom Waits.
