We’re into anything that brings art and music a little closer – so much so that we even published a freesheet about it. So, we were pretty thrilled when we heard about Secret 7″, a project that invites illustrators, designers and artists to put their own stamp on album artwork.
From 21 April, the Idea Generation gallery in Shoreditch will exhibit around 700 7″ record sleeves designed by the likes of David Shrigley, Mr Bingo, Jody Barton, Inkie and Shaw & Shaw – although it seems that all work has been created anonymously, for now at least.
Even better? All profits go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
