26 August – 17 September 2011
Woop! Something brilliant is coming up. Flamingo Magazine presents the first ever Flamingo Arts Project, a group show featuring some of the best emerging talent in illustration. Each artist involved in the project has contributed to the past two issues of the magazine, and we’re now showcasing some of their self-initiated work to the public (that’s you!) at Betty’s Coffee Shop, 510b Kingsland Rd, London, E8 4AE.
Even better, is that you’re all invited to the private view from 6pm on 25 August! If you’d like to join us for art, boozing and schmoozing then RSVP with your name to rsvp@flamingomagazine.com.
The Flamingo Arts Project #1 will feature work from the following artists:
Maggie Li
Hattie Stewart
Hayley Warnham
Joey Dean
Donya Todd
Jo Cheung
Jen Bailey
Shaun Lynch
Emma Brown
So what is The Flamingo Arts Project?
The Flamingo Arts Project is a new illustration venture featuring exhibitions, workshops and discussions in an attempt to promote illustration and showcase the work of talented emerging artists. Can we take a sneeky peek at some of the work that will be on show?
